Watching the Sky

The boys and I had fun watching the yellow plane fly overhead spraying the trees for Gypsy Moths. The picture of the plane isn’t very good and doesn’t do justice to the excitement of watching it flying low over our neighborhood.

Easter Weekend

We enjoyed having Kevin and Angelee and Taylor and Lydia for a visit on Saturday. Kevin and Angelee were here for Sunday too. We dyed some eggs and enjoyed some goodies. I love my family and am always grateful when we can spend some time together. My family is a wonderful blessing but knowing Jesus is my greatest blessing. I’m so thankful that Jesus came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose again.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, (John 11:25, ESV)

New Driver

Jacob has his permit now and is always eager to get some driving time. Luke just recently got his license and can drive on his own. I’m much more relaxed now, than I was when my older children were learning to drive. Thankfully my older kids survived and are good drivers.

Josiah’s Red Ryder

Yesterday Josiah’s new Red Ryder was delivered by UPS. He had birthday money to spend and is now a happy owner of his own BB gun.

Summer at Camp

Yesterday we dropped Kristi off at Camp Barakel where she will be working with handcrafts this summer. We got to see Kevin M. for a bit. He will be there for the summer as well serving as an engineer counselor. It’s hard to believe my little girl has graduated from high school and will start college in the fall. I’m excited for the opportunity she has to work at camp this summer. I’m sure she’ll have a great time.

Kevin M. showed us the stand he made for his hammock. I snapped a few pictures and Josiah took advantage of the opportunity to make some funny faces.
